hmmm...i'm not sure...would they even have sandfleas?...i've never actually seen a sandflea.

Sand gnats or also know as Sand fleas I are annoying little Bitty bug I don't think they are actually fleas per-say just called that cause they are small.

These guys are actual Sandfleas. But I was referring to the one above for the holt.

I did not realize that is what those looked like. A bunch of them could probably take you YIKES! I have never seen them before.
Perhaps the Wolffolk brought fleas with then and the critters adapted to the beach Another reason the Seafolk did not like their presence lol.

i thought of one!
"Fine, you blasted gull! now leave me alone!" to call someone a gull is to imply they chatter incessantly and as annoyingly pestering as a seagull. could also be used to refer to someone who steals food.
