I think that at some point we'll have a list for the adoptable characters, but right now we only have a few players. I do love how our Holt is growing!

agreed! i do wish we had more players...i've been scraping my brain for places to post about our holt to entice more players...i've done random rping advertisement boards, i posted on the EQ forum AND facebook page, and on DA...i'm out of ideas, aaagh!

ah well...yes, at some point, the NPC will double as the adoption thread.

So anyone thought on the life span of Wolfriders? Their natural lifespan may be about 3,000-3,500 years. found that also Bearclaw was pretty well up there if I recall and all the current elder of the Wolfrider tribe are at least 2000 I think.

i agree to an extent, though i think possibly Wolfriders could live to be maybe even 4 or 5 thousand. they are still elves after all! too bad we never got clarification about Rainsong and Woodlock during the Palace's disappearance...

I would say somewhere around 5k would be the outside range, though we don't really know how long Timmorn Yellow Eyes lived. The purer the blood line, I would imagine, the longer they'd be potentially able to live. Obviously they didn't 'breed again' with wolves as far as I know, as Winnowill implied they did - nasty bad highthing - but I'm sure that along the way of our group's separation the more wolf-blooded may have had a stronger influence in a small group like theirs before they got any other wanderers into their lines.

Myself I assume average around 2500 for 'dying of old age' but with clean living and less stress upwards to 5k. Spur, being what did I say like 1100, he's been through a LOT in his life, so he's feeling his age fairly strongly even though he's not that aged.

Well the thought can hang out until something is decided. Mainly I just wanted to make up histories and faces to go with them. Though still have to come up with a name for Straystar's Grandsire/Wolffolk Chief. Figured some previous Chiefs fleshed out a bit would be good. for the story arch references, plus names to go into howl keeper stories.
