Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
I have no idea, quite frankly. I'd expect it to be near the Holt, but not too close.

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
Ok, since the Forest surrounding the Holt might be too close and Deep Forest too far... maybe create a new one called Wolves' Dens?

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
We need the dens where the Wolves live, not the Wolffolk. The Wolves usually live apart from the Wolfriders, or at least the females who have cubs...

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
When I was reading your post Ed, I was thinking of a gift that might reflect both Tern and Kai and the first thing I could think of was Tern showing up at her doorstep with an actual tern and lighting it on fire

LMAO! that would be something huh?
I am finally home and i should be for a while now.
Anyway I posted images of the flower I found that i liked that sort of was what i was thinking of when i wrote the post. I'm thinking that it can come in different colors, so that it's not just the dark blue or purple color. idk run with it. ^^

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
i'm so sorry i've been so absent guys! between trying to move, and starting a new job and just...constant depression in general, i've found little time or will to come here.
but i promise i'll try to do better!
also i feel i have to clarify something for you kai. yes "going out" of your body CAN kill an elf, but only through a natural means...aka, starvation or thirst if someone isn't giving your body water daily. so if she stayed a day or two out of her body, it wouldn't do any lasting harm.

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
No... I am sorry, but for the actual wolves.
Wolves usually don't have their dens close to the elfes, bit furter away, to raise their cubs and for the wolves who have no rider to live.

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
That I wouldn't know if the need to be away from the elves, try the deep woods for the thread, or the forest around the holt if that's far enough away, you guys know this stuff better than me at the moment.

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
I, personally, would say deep woods, simply based on the fact that in the wild a she-wolf will hide her den from her pack members accept for her mate. Given that, it would make sense for the wolves' dens to be away from the Holt.

Re: Wolf/Sea OOC Discussion
yeah, but remember in the comics, the elves could easily get to the dens to check? think oh...the distance of the caves from Sorrows End. Nightfall checked in on Squirrelbane, Dewshine's wolf when Dewshine had Windkin. Cutter found Holdfast's littermates in the den. so i presume it's rather close..probably the forest around the holt.
wild wolves could be very different from wolfrider wolves after all.
