Appearance: Ash's hair is a deep brown nearly black color. Her wavy hair reaches just past her shoulder blades and is usually tied back in a ponytail to keep it from blinding her. Her eyes stand a little too far apart and are a dark grey like the remains of a bonfire. Her skin is slightly tanned. There's a scar marking the inside of her upper arm, running down the full lenght of it. The result of a hunt gone wrong. Ash's nose is slightly of center after a run in with a tree. She can still smell fine though. She has a slight limp in her walk, it doesn't interfere with her daily activities though.

Body Build: Slender but athletic. A little smaller than the average wolfrider height.

Usually Seen Wearing: Black pants, brown boots and a green top that leaves her forarms bare. The top is tied at the waist with a brown belt, (made from the same leather as her boots). There's a leather cuff around her right wrist and the sheats of her blades are strapped to her thighs.

Personality: Like there are two sides to a blade, there are two sides to Ash.
She’s sharp and witty and doesn’t take no for an answer easily. It got her into trouble a lot when she was younger, now when she’s older that hasn’t changed much. She isn’t disrespectful to her tribe mates but she makes her opinion on something clear. Ash is loyal to those she trusts and thinks a lot in black and white. Accepting that sometimes the wrong thing is the right thing is something she’s still learning.


Likes: Dancing (she doesn't care that she's horribly at it), hunting, tracking, snoozing

Dislikes: Animals that sting, dreamberries, tanning (somehow she never got the hang of it)

Skills: Excellent aim with both hands. She's good at spotting small movement even over a great distance.

History:
Ash was born at the Everhome tree under the name Skylight. She took the name Ash after she discovered her fascination with heat and fire. The normally loud elf cub could stare into the heart of the fire for hours at time, being perfectly happy while doing so.
Her mom Brighteyes died during a hunt when Ash was barely full grown. Ash was at the ever tree at the moment along with her father. According to other members of the tribe, her mom got on the receiving end of paniced blow from a paniced bear. She was thrown back against the ground and cracked her skull against a stone. Dying almost instantly. Even though Ash didn't see it the scream her father let out still hunts her. The rest of the tribe took up taking care of both Ash and her father until both got over the death of Brighteyes. Trying to distract herself Ash started to teach herself new skills. Practicing with throwing her knives until she could hit a moving mark without difficulty. She prefers up close and personal fights with her prey over the use of bow and arrow. It gives those she hunts a fair shot at keeping their life.
Ash doesn't have any trouble with the Seaelf tribe living nearby although she finds some of their habbits quite strange.

It occurs to me that Stormcloud and Ash might be rivals, in hunting. They both hunt with throwing knives. I can easily imagine them competing in accuracy either in a friendly or a not-so-friendly way. What do you think, Hail?

That sounds like fun. Especially when it comes to hunting smaller prey like rabbits and stuff, maybe even fishing. As for the friendly or not so friendly competition. I believe Ash is a bit older than Stormcloud so she might act a bit jealous if her tribe mate shows her skill.
