With his calm voice he tried to reassure her, when he got closer he recognized her, it was Capricious, his heart fluttered, secretly he always had a soft spot for her.
In no time he had her free, he took her gentle in her arms, her eyes were closed and she felt very cold. He panicked a little, **Capricious?** He nudged her gentle and was relieved when she showed signs that she was regaining consciousness. Suddenly she looked right in his eyes, he was drawn into them, a shock came over him, she knew his soulname, he was sure of it because hers echoed through his thoughts.

Capricious knew she was in trouble, she couldn't free herself and she find it harder and harder to stay awake. In desperation she called for help. Not expecting a response she was shocked to see Clamstone rushing in. Her face lit up, of course it was logical that he had found her." Help me please, my tail is stuck." she whispered, she was safe, relieved she let the darkness take her.
Someone was calling her name, not only a voice, it was like something pulled her out of the darkness, a little light guided her, she had to follow it. She opened her eyes and looked right in his eyes, she was drawn into them, a shock came over her, the light was Roc, his soulname, their souls melted together.

Re: NPC's of the Tribes/ Adoptable Profiles
Player's name: NPC/Adoptable
Character's name: Minnow
Gender: Female
Character's age: 369
Soulname: Vala (Unrecognized)
Tribe: Seafolk
Tribal Position: Artist, Weaver
Appearance: Minnow had pale skin, black hair, and amber eyes. Her long black hair is worn down with a strip of hair bound so it falls in front of her shoulder. Her features are fine and narrow. Her amber eyes are bright an intelligent, sometimes there being a sly, secretive look in them. Her long, thin fingers are webbed, as are her ears, but she has no distinctive fins.
Body Build: Minnow has a delicate, aristocratic build.
Usually Seen Wearing: Her most common outfit is a dusky blue dress with an almost transparent blue-green dress over it. She has a grey “corset” that she wears over her second dress that she wears a belt of silver over. Pears hang decoratively in her hair and around her neck.
Weapon preference: Minnow almost never fights, but when she has to, she uses a spear or two short swords.
Magic: Minnow has no known magic.
Family: Father: Shoal/Flicker (deceased); Mother: Shell; Grandmother: Torrent (deceased); Grandfather: Crescent (deceased); Grandfather: Serpent Fang (former mate of Crescent and Torrent);
Personality: Minnow is serious and calm. She’s not known for losing her cool and is very levelheaded. She is loyal to her tribe and surprisingly patient considering her father and grandfather’s tempers. She’s good at concentrating and maintaining focus on the issue at hand. She’s very objective rather than subjective. She doesn’t have much of a sense of humor, though.
Likes: Weaving and making outfits. She likes making more festive garments rather than practical (someone had to). She likes pleasant weather and is never opposed to a romp in the furs or dreamberries. She enjoys making different forms of art from painting on the walls of caves to weaving and sewing clothes. She loves storms because she finds them inspiring.
Dislikes: She dislikes people disturbing her while she’s working.
Skills: Minnow is a skilled seamstress, but can also fish and light. She’s skilled with the spear (being taught by Serpent Fang) and dual short swords.
History: Minnow was born from the Recognition of Shoal and Shell. From an early age Shoal wanted her to know how to defend herself because of the deaths of his own parents, Crescent and Torrent. He taught her how to fight with short swords while her grandfather, Serpent Fang (the one from the threemating whom ultimately raised Shoal), taught her how to hunt and fight with the spear. Shoal looked much like her mother, Shell, having her delicate body build and coloration, but she had her father’s (and her grandmother’s) eyes.
When Minnow was about ten turns of the season old, she discovered than beautiful things could be made in the form of art. Her real love ended up being designing and making clothes. She also learned how to paint on cave walls and even do a little carving without the ability to shape rock.
When Minnow was 244, her father was part of the hunting party that was attacked by the daggertooth and was killed along side Spearshaft. The blow was extremely painful to her and her mother. After that, she turned her back on hunting much to the chagrin (but possibly relief?) to Serpent Fang.
Any Other Information: Minnow is more open-minded and patient than her grandfather Serpent Fang, but she does share some key beliefs with him such as the fact that she’d much rather have the WolfFolk keep their distance. However, she wouldn’t be opposed to trading with them and having access to potential dyes that could be made from things found in the forest.

Re: NPC's of the Tribes/ Adoptable Profiles
Player's name: NPC/Adoptable
Character's name: Raza Swiftwind (Raza)
Gender: Male
Character's age: Over 8,000
Soulname: Unknown/Has none
Tribe: None
Tribal Position: Loner
Appearance: Raza Swiftwind is tall, much taller than the average elf, but not as tall as the High One. He has long flaming red hair and eyes that are somewhere in-between light green and pale blue. His features are sharp, but there’s a sadness and disconnected air about him. His skin is light, though not quite ivory pale.
Body Build: Tall and Willowy
Usually Seen Wearing: Raza Swiftwind’s usual outfit consists of a simple green tunic worn with a brown belt, brown pants, and knee high brown boots. (Think of Link’s outfit in Legend of Zelda, but without the hat.)
Weapon preference: He carries a bow and arrow, but rarely uses them, as well as a plane staff with a simple metal spear head on the end.
Magic: Raza has a number of magical abilities which include self-shaping, conjuring fire, healing, and “going out.”
Family: Rza Swiftwind’s parents were two of the High Ones, he had two siblings, all of who are deceased. Raza had a mate (whether Recognized or other is unknown), she’s likely deceased. He also has a son, Sut No-Face Bear-Slayer, and a number of grandchildren and other descendants.
Personality: Raza Swiftwind is a quiet soul. He rarely speak, for he lives alone far from anyone, elven or otherwise. His quiet ways are deceptive, however. He’s alone by choice rather than anything else. Upon looking at him it’s easy to tell that he’s weary of the world. He’s disconnect from the rest of the world and isn’t entirely “there.”
Raza chose the company of nature and animals over other people so he could ultimately be alone. It’s said that he simply walked away and never returned. He’s strange to behold and to call him “wise” isn’t entirely accurate. He is an enigma.
Likes: Raza Swiftwind is alone by choice, evidently preferring solitude and nature.
Dislikes: Other people, perhaps?
Skills: Raza Swiftwind provides for himself, hunting, fishing, foraging, and making his own clothes. His practical skills have developed over thousands of years.
History:
Raza Swiftwind’s parents were among those who were in the Palace when it crashed into the World of Two Moons. They were lost and their magic was horribly weakened. They were fortunate enough to survive the encounter and escape. Over time, while the High Ones and their descendants separated, Raza Swiftwind’s parents and a handful of others travelled south, but only so far into the coniferous forest. Raza was born sometime after the Palace crashed, but how long is unknown. It was soon enough that he was still numbered among the first born.
Raza wasn’t born “of” this world, for he had no blood connecting him to the World of Two Moons. He was, however, born “into” this world. Despite having no blood that connected to the World of Two Moons, he had a deep running connect with the world, including the plants and animals.
Raza rose up as a leader, or chief, to the ragged assortment of High Ones and First Borns who of his time. He led the small group south to a “safe place” where they could survive away from the humans. Raza ended up leading them down the mountains into a valley where they established a village.
Eventually Raza had a son, presumably through Recognition. The tribe had lived in the village in the valley for a very long time at this point and the elves were already shrinking in size. His own son, Sut, was only the height of one of the “modern” elves. The village was peaceful enough until the humans came across it.
The village was burned and the elves escaped, but with heavy casualties. Raza Swiftwind’s own High One parents were killed as well as many others. He led them into a nomadic life style for several years while his son Sut grew as a hunter and leader. The attack on the village proved to Raza that they couldn’t settle down anywhere. Their nomadic lifestyle was dangerous to say the least.
They remained in the mountains and as the cold moved south, so did the beasts. The panicle for Raza wasn’t the destruction of the village, but when a bear attack a small hunting party. Sut was leading the hunting party and was mauled, his body was practically shredded. Sut killed the bear before falling unconscious. Raza feared that his son wouldn’t survive.
Against all odds, Sut survived. He was renamed “Lost-Face,” but he was also given the title of “Bear Slayer.” As Sut healed and adapted to having lost his face, one of his eyes, and being partially crippled, Raza saw in his son a strong leader who the others would be able to follow.
However, life wasn’t going to become any easier when humans attacked once more. Sut, only half-healed was the one to rise up and lead the panicking and wounded tribe to safety. When he was healed enough, Sut confronted his father. He was possessed with the fierce need to find a safe place for their tribe once more.
They ventured farther south again, with Sut as their chief. Raza stepped down as chief, taking a more reserved role in the tribe. The Old Ones, as Raza referred to them, mattered less and less to the tribe and were beginning to be viewed with suspicion. The years passed and the number of First Born dwindled until Raza was the last Old One remaining.
Sut had become a strong leader, both in peace times and war. Raza began to distance himself from the tribe after the suspicion began growing. It was said that one day he simply walked away from the tribe and never returned. That was only half right.
Sut had become angry with Raza disconnect and confronted him about it, accusing Raza of not caring for or about the tribe. At this point Raza did walk away. He took nothing with him but his bow and arrows and departed from the tribe.
Raza wandered aimlessly for countless years until he came to a forest at the edge of the ocean. This forest is far, far north of the SeaFolk and WolfFolk’s cove. He lives quietly in this forest without anyone. His “home” is in a cave tucked behind a tiny trickle of a waterfall that’s part of a stream that runs down to the ocean.
Raza met Serpent Fang on one of Serpent Fang’s journeys. He and Serpent Fang formed an unusual bond.
