Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Thank you!
She gave me "artistic freedom" so to speak.
She loves skirts with short at the front and long at the back. And a top with a low back, or in this case no back at all, hihi.
See if the original is better... I think in the face the lines are too sharp....
EDIT:
.....Better?

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
could have sworn i gave you artistic freedom with Tide...ah well, i'm giving it now, if you ever decide to draw her again!
i personally think the first one is clearer.

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
@Tidemist, yes you did, but I loved her dress as described in her profile! And the details, like the leatherband around her right arm. I changed it a bit, added pearls as a shoulderband. I do have some ideas for another drawing .
She kind of reminds me of a character I drew many years ago... see if I can find it. Or check on the EQ-forum under Eyes-High, my artgallery....
@Kaimeta, pfff. So glad you like her, lol. I am going for a pearly look this season! Pearls all around!
And thank you too Delhya, Ember and WolfCandy!
Oh and do you mind if I share my drawings on the forum? Or EQ-fanartsite?

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Yes, you should take it as a compliment! I have posted before on the EQ-forum and on EQ-fanart-site. Both under the name Eyes-High or EyesHigh.... or a number added.
I shall post the drawings on both sites, so you know it's me, lol.
I feel so inspired by this holt! I just can't stop drawing, hihi!
EDIT: btw. How does the Everhometree look like? Like the Fathertree? Could be, but the Original Wolfriders, or Goodtree, made it well after the ancestors of the Wolffolk left.... although, great minds are a like, right?

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Everhome tree...i imagine it'd be a combination of the revived Father tree and Thorny Mountain. big tree, losts of arial. wolffolk character owners, feel free to chime in! if nothing else, make a sketch and we can all contribute details and make it a work in progress.^^

I think I will make a sketch first, then you all can add details! Maybe we can do that too with the home of the Seafolk?

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
that's a possibility. XD ah but if you're going to do the Coves, you'll definitely need to talk to me. i've had the image in my head for a while...though i think Apogee made a 3D version that was quite close.

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
I will add the link to the Holt next to the drawings!
And I think I saw the 3d-images! Before posting I will pm you first Tidemist. See if my image of the Cove is the same .
https://highcoveholt.rpg-board.net/t59-high-cove-renders
Btw. Those are the cliffs/hills (lack of better world at this time)with caverns inside where the Seafolk live in? And the Wolffolk live on the mainland?

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
pretty much the SeaFolk do indeed live in a big cliff. and the WolfFolk are indeed further inland from the sea.

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Bad news....
Yesterday we had a powerfailure in half our village.....
Now my computer doesn't start. I am hoping it is a small thing, but if not.......
I am so glad I stored my art and most of my photo's on a ext.drive, but it does mean I can't scan for a few days or untill I have a working computer.........
If I can take good pictures of my drawings I will post them here.

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Here is another gift! This time for Leanan!
As soon as I can scan I will post that one here, but I wanted to share this. It isn't colored yet, but I will soon!
I didn't gave him a braid, but a tail which has been tied together every ....cm.

Oooh very nice! I love it! Thank you so much! I like the alternative hairstyle, and that starfish on the chest is very Wavedancer-y... he was always a Wavedancer-y elf to begin with Can't wait to see it in color!

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
Glad you like it. I don't know if the fins are right. I copied it from your profilepicture.
I was inspired by Surge? or is it Snakeskin??? one of them has a seastar on his chest too, but Snaketwist doesn't know him, so he didn't copy it, lol.

Re: [Art] Shinebright's drawings
The fins look okay to me. You can see the full drawing my profile pic is from in Tidemist's art topic.
That would be Surge. And maybe some of the Original Wavedancers too... but my memory is hazy on that, should re-read those comics.
