Hiya!

I'm Apogee, aka lethe-gray, also aka Shard, Sanger, Tani, Zekiran, and a host of other online id's I've used over the years. For the most part these days, I'm Zekiran. I am known as Apogee on the elfquest forum, but I hardly visit there any more. Used to before they reformatted the site. You'll find that when I am interested in something I will post *a lot*.

I've been a fan of Elfquest since around 1978, when I was in jr high and a friend bought me Fantasy Quarterly 1. I didn't actually pick up on the comic Elfquest until several years into its run but that only meant I had 11 issues to find, since... quarterly.

In high school elfquest was in full swing for me, and while I was also into that kind of thing I meditated and had visions and ... well I was also probably a bit high. Smile

One of my dreamed locations turned into a huge world, the Otherforest. In it are hundreds of real-world people transformed into elf-like folks, with powers and attitudes similar to the world of Abode but with the twist that they really are 'humans' changed into elves.

Aside from elves, I've been long into dragons - while I still don't care for the actually-written Dragonridrers of Pern books themselves, the world that good old anne made has provided me with a huge number of dragons, characters, and online cyberpets. Hell I even got a site shut down by her idiotic son - who was then fired from his job as her 'legal' representation. (mostly because he was absolutely not a lawyer, and also because he completely screwed her up by the time all the **** was hitting the fan on their site... but that's a rant for another time and place). But all my stuff is still up (or at least, as much as I've moved over from my old geocities saves). I would love to be still involved with the Nexus dragonries, but so many real life concerns had to come first, and I have been very lax about hitting my own forum :/

As for me, I'm female, 47, heavily tattooed (including elves and dragons!), a video game fan (I play single player stuff like half life and fear, but also borderlands, l4d at times, and a lot of dumb flash games like Chuzzle). My favorite game shut down, City of Heroes, though I am still using the "Icon" program to launch the character creator and wander through the game zones - i've been known to make character images from it, so don't be surprised if you see some backgrounds from that game. I miss it terribly.

I love doll makers and 'lazy arting' because 2 years ago I broke my wrist and it's been way too hard getting back into drawing properly. Heck even Coral's base sketch was actually drawn a good 8 years ago and only just today inked up and scanned...

I've got food allergies (gluten and casein, some others) so I've had to work around that for a long while. (thank goodness for goat cheese!)

I love you. I love Tattooed gaming artists. I had to learn to write and draw again after a sugary on my right wrist in 05. It get a little easter with time.

Ive read some of the Dragonrider books, I liked the ones i read, My fave is Dragonsong I think it was called.

I can't wait to get to know you and rp with you around the holt!

Well, I actually like "context relevant" names, which is why I have so many. So for here, Apogee is fine, just anywhere else you might see the names above, that's me. lol I had someone on one of the old yahoo groups for cyberpets give me a heads up about a "neat new creature I might like". At the time I was on my "triptych" persona Rita, and they forwarded me to the Ferilon Farm.

I also ran the Ferilon Farm, that's Tani. Smile

Hmmm Realized I had not posted here... Sorry. My Pen name is Delhya have gone by it since about 2000. I got into EQ in 1997 and have been hooked ever since. I love writing and fleshing out stories to give them a 3D feel. I was born and raised in Florida, though I love the little traveling I have done.
